Position: Sales Consultant
Description
We are seeking an entry-level, versatile sales person with strong business-to-business hunting skills. We are a tight-knit sales team of five people selling sophisticated marketing and recruiting products in a fast-paced environment and with a rapid sales cycle.
TAG offers weekly product and sales training to help you launch your career in Home Care and Hospice marketing.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Intelligently prospect, profile, identify and close business to mid/senior level executives in the small to medium size company "growth market" through consistent follow-up on warm leads generated through various in-house marketing programs.
- Drive revenue and sales to meet personal targets through prospecting, active funnel management, accurate weekly forecasts, and closing business.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations based on customer needs.
- Maintain records utilizing Microsoft Excel and SalesForce.com
- Travel to 3-4 tradeshows a year
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years experience
- A passionate self-motivated self-starter with a sincere willingness to learn the home care and hospice industry, close business and make money.
- Highly focused with a strong desire to "hunt" and close new business within a startup-environment.
- Resourceful with impeccable communication skills.
- Strong phone sales skills, understanding of the sales process, and the ability to make high volume outbound calls to build a prospect funnel base.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and lead management applications (SalesForce.com). (We will also train you).
- Knowledge of the home care and hospice industry is a plus (we will also train you.)
- Street smarts go a long way.
Compensation:
This is a full time position including base plus commission.
Scheduling:
This position is available immediately for the right professional. This is a highly visible professional sales position.
